4. Vegan Roasted Garlic Mushroom and Barley Stew by Rabbit and Wolves
Garlic has proven itself to help protect people from heart disease by lowering LDL cholesterol levels. This recipe has both garlic and barley in it, making for a perfect cholesterol lowering meal. As mentioned in the name, the stew is vegan, so you don’t have to worry about raising your LDL cholesterol while enjoying it.
5. Caprese Pasta Salad by Eating Bird Food
This recipe includes Barilla’s Chickpea Rotini, which utilizes chickpeas for their protein and their LDL lowering benefits. It also includes garlic which is mentioned above for its heart-healthy benefits. Two other ingredients this recipe includes are olive oil and leafy greens.
